Son of the Revd. Arthur Edmund Tulk and Pauline Maud Tulk, of Magog, Quebec, Canada.

Admitted to the university in 1938. Received his B.A. (History Honours) in 1941 (The Quad, 1941, p.12).

Played on the Football team (The Quad, 1939, p.53; 1940, p.59; 1941, p.52). “Ray” Tulk, along with his brother Waldo, played defense on the Junior Hockey (The Quad, 1939, p.55; 1940, p.61); Ray also played for the Second Year Intramural Hockey team (The Quad, 1940, p.66).

Secretary-Treasurer for the Students’ Executive Council as well as the Literary and Debating Society in 1941 (The Quad, 1941, p.12, 35, 37).
