Son of W. H. and Florence N. Dinning, of Maple Grove, Co. Megantic, Quebec.
Received his B.A. in 1910
Henry was President of the Athletic Association and Football Club. In Football, his “weight and strength were greatly felt on the line.” (The Mitre, December 1910, p.21) He was also a committee member of the Basketball Club and Secretary-Treasurer of the Boat Club. (The Mitre, October 1910, p.25).
Henry placed second in the Putting Shot on Sports Day in 1910 (The Mitre, December 1910, p.25).
He was Treasurer of the Churchwarden Club, and presented a paper on Sir John Macdonald at a meeting in 1910. (The Mitre, October 1910, p.24; December 1910, p.26).
Elected an officer of the Missionary Union in 1911 (The Mitre, May 1911, p.30).
Henry was elected Alumni Editor for The Mitre in June 1911 (The Mitre, June 1911, p.8).
